Dry time is the gap in this category. Our research team compared the five maker pages in the table. Zero of those pages published a dry time in hours.
What they do publish is a method, not a clock. Snoozer says tumble dry the microsuede cover on low. K9 Ballistics prefers air dry, with low heat as a backup.
West Paw says the whole mat goes in the dryer. L.L.Bean says the cover is machine wash and dry. Orvis’s product page is silent on minutes.
The CDC page fills one narrow case: disinfection. For soft items, it says to use the highest heat setting for 30 minutes if you are disinfecting. That is not a license to melt every cover.
Many dog-bed covers cannot take high heat. Snoozer’s microsuede line says low. K9 Ballistics says low if you use a dryer at all.
High heat for 30 minutes and “tumble dry low” are not the same instruction. Follow the maker when the two conflict.

Snoozer sizes the Rectangle Cozy Cave by dog body length. Extra-large is listed for dogs 30 to 46 inches long. The same Forgiveness page cites 12.5 square feet of sleep surface.
Orvis sizes the Deluxe by weight bands. Small is 27 by 21¾ inches for dogs up to 40 pounds. Medium is 34½ by 26½ inches for 40 to 60 pounds.
