Vinyl slider tracks are often wider than older aluminum tracks. Endura Flap’s Thermo Panel 3e page says vinyl patio tracks are not the target and points those tracks to a vinyl insert.
We did not put that vinyl SKU in the table. This article stays on aluminum-track inserts we could specify from open maker pages.
Some factory sliders need a modification or a different insert. If your track is under 1 inch, the 3e line is the wrong family.
Security Boss warns that a floor rail wider than 5/16 inch may keep the C-channel from straddling the rail. That is a fit fail, not a flap-size fail.
We also left out in-glass replacements. Those cut or replace the pane, so they fail our no-cut rule.
